Whistleblower Program
Help ensure integrity and accountability in our government. Report fraud, waste, and abuse by City employees and people who do business with the City. The Controller's Office will investigate your confidential report.
How it works
Reporting
To report fraud, waste or abuse by City employees or someone doing business with the City, file a whistleblower complaint. If you choose to make a report, please include as much detail as possible. Our staff will review your report and provide you with a tracking number.
Report Review
Our staff will investigate your report. Use your tracking number to check your report status and read investigator messages.
Disposition
The Whistleblower Program will ensure your report will be triaged and investigated appropriately. This includes ensuring the department involved in the report takes corrective action when warranted. Our staff will review and decide if further action is needed before closing the review. Whistleblower investigations are confidential.
