What is an LBE Credit Restriction?

An LBE credit restriction is a condition placed on the certified LBE's participation to ensure the integrity of the LBE program; it enables a firm to receive certification while also creating compliance safeguards. Restrictions can arise due to various affiliations or relationships with another entity (e.g. common ownership, prior employment, familial relationships, etc.). LBEs are never restricted from working with another entity but if a restricted affiliation exists, the LBE firm's participation on work involving the restricted affiliation will not count toward LBE participation credit.
