Not quite old enough to vote? You can still play a part in elections!

Poll Worker Service

If you will be at least 16 years old by the next Election Day, you can apply to serve as a poll worker. Poll worker service looks great on a college application or resume. You will also receive a $225 stipend. To learn more about serving as a poll worker, visit our poll worker page

2-week internships

If you are a junior or senior, you can apply to serve as an election intern. Interns serve for 2 weeks in either September or April. Interns receive a stipend for up to $550. After training, each intern creates and implements an outreach plan to help register people to vote. To learn more about this program, contact us.

Voter pre-registration

If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can complete a paper or online voter registration form now. On your 18th birthday, we will activate your voter record and send a confirmation letter. After your birthday, we will also start mailing you official election materials.
