Non-profit organizations in San Francisco can apply to host a DreamSF fellow.

How to apply

Organizations that wish to host a DreamSF fellow must:

  • Be located in or provide services in San Francisco

  • Serve Bay Area immigrant communities

  • Supervise and mentor a fellow for 16 hours a week

  • Provide necessary space and equipment for a fellow 

  • Commit to hosting a fellow for either 6 or 11 months

 

You will need fill out an application form. 

The application includes several short response questions and a project proposal.

What happens after you apply

Submitting your application is a part of a two-step application process.

If qualified, you will be contacted in May to schedule a site visit and interview. Selected organizations are required to attend an orientation in June. 

Host organization and fellow interviews and matching will take place in July and fellows start at their host organization in August.

The DreamSF Fellowship promotes the professional development of young immigrants professionals while building the capacity of organizations that help San Francisco's immigrant community.
