1. Fill out a form
Describe the street issue or pothole you want to report.
We will need:
- The location
- Nature of request
Include a photo to assist with identification and response.
2. Track your case
After you report, you will get a tracking number from 311. You can use this number, and your email address if provided, to track your case online or on the SF311 mobile app.
Expected response time
- Construction plate shifted: as soon as possible
- Manhole cover off: as soon as possible
- Utility excavation: as soon as possible
- Pavement defect (pothole): 3 calendar days
