Important updates to vaccine requirements

Starting this Friday, March 11, San Francisco will no longer require people to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to enter:

  • Indoor restaurants
  • Bars
  • Gyms
  • Fitness studios

As always, businesses can decide to be more restrictive than local health guidelines and can continue to require proof of vaccination or a negative test from their staff and clients. Masks can also still be required.

Indoor "mega events" of 1,000+ people will need to continue to require proof of vaccination.
