If you already did construction to follow with the Accessible Business Entrance (ABE) program, request a waiver.

What to do

1. See if you are eligible for a waiver

You may apply for a waiver from the ABE program if you already made your entrance accessible.

2. Fill out the form

Fill out all 3 sections of the waiver form to tell us that you have an accessible entrance or do not need to make your entrance accessible.

Section 1: Administrative information

Include:

  • Block/lot number
  • Building address
  • Owner name and contact info
  • Tenant/agent name and contact info

Section 2: Requirement waiver for checklist submittal

Confirm your building entrance complies with ABE requirements. Include your:

  • Building permit application 
  • Building address

Section 3: Signature

Sign and date the form. Check the box that best describes your relationship to the property.

3. Submit your waiver

Submit your form online.
