Submit your construction schedule to the City

Certain developments are required to update the City on the timing of their project.

What to know

Eligibility

Only projects subject to the Inclusionary Housing Program or the State Density Bonus Law must update the City on the timing of their project.

What to do

Projects that are required to report their project timing to the City will be contacted by the Planning Department. If you did not receive a request to provide this information, do not complete this form.

1. Check to see if your project meets the requirements

Projects must update the City on the timing of their project if it provides on-site or off-site affordable units as part of the Inclusionary Program requirements and/or the State Density Bonus Law.

Projects that meet these requirements will be contacted by the Planning Department every six months to update their project timing. If the estimated construction schedule changes, please submit this form again with updated information. Planning or MOHCD staff may contact the project sponsor to request an updated timeline or additional information.

Contact the Planning Department if you think your project meets these requirements, but you have not been requested to complete this form.

2. Submit your construction schedule to the City

Gather your project information

We will ask you for:

  • Planning Case Number (PRJ)
  • Information about the property owner or authorized agent
  • Estimated schedule for your project including dates of permit issuance, final completion, occupancy, and launch of marketing for affordable and market-rate units.

The construction schedules are non-binding, and will be used for informational purposes only.

Why this service

The schedule is a tool to assist in implementing the Inclusionary Affordable Housing Program (“Inclusionary Program”) and allows the Planning Department and Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development to proactively contact project sponsors to comply with the Program requirements.
