As required by California Code of Regulation Title 27 (27 CCR), § 21660.1, the LEA is posting this Public Notice of approval of Report of Facility Information (RFI) for Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWFP) for San Francisco Solid Waste Transfer and Recycling Center (SFSWTRC) located at 501 Tunnel Ave., San Francisco, CA, 94134.

Treasure Island refuse collection permits

The Department completed the first and second stages of the refuse route permit evaluation process and is issuing this notice of completed application and intent to permit, with the evaluation result.

 

A public hearing will be held only if requested by an interested party or the public or if the Director deems that a public hearing is in the public interest. The request must be made in writing by October 2, 2023, no later than 5:00 p.m. PT and must be emailed to DPH-sfsolidwaste@sfdph.org

The San Francisco Department of Public Health (“Department”), is announcing the opportunity to apply for a Refuse Collection Route Permit which would authorize a Collector to provide Services in a designated route on the Treasure Island (hereinafter referred as designated route “97-TI”). 97-TI excludes Federal Facilities and City Facilities governed by the 1999 Federal Facilities Refuse Collection Permit Regulation and the Office of Contract Administration’s solicitation contracts, respectively.

 

Each application package must be Complete and Correct and meet the required and minimum qualifications set forth in this Notice. Whether an application package meets these qualifications and service requirements will be determined through the application evaluation criteria process.

 

Note closing date updated: All interested applicants should apply starting May 1, 2023 through June 30, 2023 by 5 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) to be eligible for evaluation and consideration. Application packages must be submitted electronically in searchable PDF to dph-sfsolidwaste@sfdph.org.

Yerba Buena Island Refuse Collection Permits

The San Francisco Department of Public Health is announcing the opportunity to apply for Refuse Collection Route Permit which would authorize a Collector to provide Services in a designated route on the Yerba Buena Island (hereinafter referred as designated route “97-YBI”). 97-YBI excludes Federal Facilities and City Facilities governed by the 1999 Federal Facilities Refuse Collection Permit Regulation and the Office of Contract Administration’s solicitation contracts, respectively. Each application package must be Complete and Correct and meet the required and minimum qualifications set forth in the Notice of Refuse Collection Route Permit Application Opportunity. Whether an application package meets these qualifications and service requirements will be determined through the application evaluation criteria process. 

All interested applicants should apply starting September 12, 2022 through October 31, 2022, by 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) to be eligible for evaluation and consideration. Application packages must be submitted electronically in searchable PDF to dph-sfsolidwaste@sfdph.org.
