About the Treatment on Demand Act
The 2008 Treatment on Demand Act, also known as Proposition T, requires the San Francisco Department of Public Health to provide adequate substance use disorder treatment capacity to meet the community's demand for publicly funded treatment.
The following reports provide an overview of funding, treatment capacity, and services for substance use disorder provided through California's expanded Drug Medi-Cal benefits as well as other state and federal grants, and expanded low-threshold services.
