Sharky Laguana is the CEO of Bandago, a passenger van rental company that specializes in providing passenger vans to professional touring musicians, families, businesses, churches and governments. The company has locations throughout the United States. Sharky is also the CEO of Campago, which manufactures camper van conversions.

As an ACRA board member he was proud to participate in successfully lobbying congress for a federal ban on renting vehicles with open safety recalls (Raechel and Jacqueline Houck Safe Rental Car Act). In 2018 he led the effort to pass AB 2620, a California state law that helps reduce the number of rental vehicles stolen in California.
Previously Sharky was the songwriter and guitarist for the band Creeper Lagoon, a critically acclaimed indie-rock band in the 90's (voted Best New Artist in SPIN magazine in 1997) with several major label releases. He is a strong supporter of the arts, and was proud to help draft and launch the San Francisco Venue Recovery Fund in 2020 with Mayor Breed and Supervisor Matt Haney.
