JoJo is a queer, trans youth leader born and raised in San Francisco. They started their community organizing work with LYRIC’s fellowship program for TGNC youth leaders. As part of the program, they got certified as a Community Health Worker to provide support for LGBTQ+ youth. JoJo then served on the San Francisco Youth Commission from 2018-2020 as the chair of the Housing Committee.
For the past two years, JoJo has been part of the planning and organizing committee for the Trans Day of Visibility, Trans March, and the Trans Day of Remembrance. They are a member of

JoJo’s main focus these days is being a business owner of Fluid Cooperative Café, a TGNC Co-op that is a café and event space for all, with a focus on youth.
