Andrea Horne

Andrea is a former actress, model, jazz singer, and long-time San Francisco resident. She is currently the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Curry Senior Center and previously worked with several LGBTQ community organizations. Andrea has lived and worked in San Francisco for over 40 years, supporting transgender women in the Tenderloin. Andrea is passionate about Black trans history. She is writing a book on the subject, currently focusing on Black trans women who lived from 1836 to 1936.
