Getting to the Richmond
SF Muni features several direct bus lines running through the neighborhood from downtown and other parts of San Francisco.
The heart of the Richmond District has so much to offer, and is the perfect mix of urban and nature, old San Francisco and new.
1. There are plenty of great ways to start your day. Grab coffee and a bite at Breadbelly, Home Coffee Roasters or House of Bagels. Lokma serves a great brunch.
2. Love short walks with beautiful scenery? Check out our local beaches with great views of the S.F Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands. China Beach and Baker Beach are great options.
3. Up for a longer walk? Take the California Coastal Trail to the Golden Gate Bridge or the Lands End trail to Lands End Lookout. If you need snacks for the hike, there is a broad variety of delis to choose from, including Angelina's Deli-Café, Moscow & Tbilisi Bakery Store, New World Market and Seakor Polish Deli. If you need sunscreen, be sure to stop by the Beauty Network.
4. If shopping is more of your vibe, you’ll find some excellent vintage goods in the neighborhood. Check out Jane Consignment or Love Street Vintage for clothing, Gaslight & Shadows Antiques for treasures from the past and Tunnel Records for vinyl from the past and present.
5. You’ll have plenty of delicious lunch options, including Amphawa Thai Noodle House, Dragon Baeux, Hanilkwan, Hummus Bodega and Pizzetta 211.
6. Art lovers won’t want to miss a visit to the Legion of Honor, with a collection spanning more than 6,000 years of ancient and European art.
7. Need a little afternoon snack? Visit E-Tea, Joe's Ice Cream or Naya Dessert Café.
8. You have a lot of great choices for dinner, including a broad variety of cuisines, casual to nationally renowned: Aziza, Hong Kong Lounge, Noodle in a Haystack, Pearl 6101, Sonamu Korean Restaurant, Violet’s, and Volcano Curry. Love margaritas? Check out Tia Margarita or Tommy's Mexican Restaurant.
9. End the evening taking in a movie at the 4 Star Theater, or tropical cocktails at the local tiki bar Trad’r Sam.

It is a neighborhood with abundant small businesses, both new and Legacy, from diverse cultures.
Shop Dine SF is an initiative of the Office of Small Business, and the Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
Its aim is to bring attention to the local businesses and neighborhood corridors.
Spending money at local small businesses helps merchants, creates jobs, and is critical to San Francisco's economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
