One Treasure Island celebrates Black History Month on Treasure Island

Activities include raffle, social media campaign, community Zoom celebration.

The Treasure Island community is invited to participate in One Treasure Island's variety of activities and online events celebrating Black History Month 2022.

Win products from local black-owned small business

There will be a weekly raffle of gift baskets full of products from local black owned small businesses!   Gift basket will be on display every Tuesday in February at the Treasure Island Food Pantry between 3:00-4:00pm.

To enter the weekly raffle:

  • Fill out a raffle ticket at the weekly Food Pantry; or
  • Text your entry (name and address) to 415-426-6906

The raffle is only open to Treasure Island residents.  You may enter the raffle each week.  You must text each week to be entered in the raffle by text.

Participate in a community celebration on Zoom

One Treasure Island will host a community Zoom celebration in late February!  Date and time of this event are to be determined. 

Island residents are encouraged to share their ideas and contribute to making this event a success! Please email communityevents@onetreasureisland.org to volunteer your time or ideas.

Celebrate local non-profits founded and led by African-Americans

A social media campaign on One Treasure Island's Instagram and Facebook accounts highlights different Bay Area African American founded/ led nonprofits throughout the month!
