For over 40 years, the Mission Family Center has provided behavioral health services to support the well-being of the Mission Community and Spanish-speaking families across the city.
We serve individuals who have low incomes, are uninsured, or have/qualify for Medicare, MediCal, or San Francisco Health Plan.
Services include:
- Individual and group therapy
- Assessments and evaluations
- Medication support and treatment
- Case management (assessing needs, coordinating care, and connecting to other services)
- Crisis services
- Psychiatric services (evaluation by a psychiatrist for medication support as needed)
- Wellness activities
- Support groups

Educationally Related Mental Health Services
Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) is a specialized support service for students who have both learning and behavioral/emotional needs. Our team works with schools to help students feel better emotionally, improve their schoolwork, and learn better ways to behave in class. This support is for students who already have an Individualized Education Programs (IEP) plan at school and need extra help with their emotions or behavior.
FUERTE (in collaboration with SF Unified Public School District)
A school-based support group that is designed for newcomer Latina/o/x/e immigrant youth (ages 12 to 18) with the goal of building a sense of community as well as providing connections to other services such as medical care, educational resources, and more.
Our team speaks English and Spanish. Other languages are available via our translation phone service line.
