Commission on the Status of Women Regular November Meeting

Remarks by President Shokooh Miry.

The Commission will discuss and possibly adopt a resolution setting forth findings required under Assembly Bill 361 that would allow the commission and its subcommittees to hold meetings remotely according to the modified Brown Act teleconferencing requirements set forth in AB 361.

A. Presentation by the Office of Transgender Initiatives

  

The Office of Transgender Initiatives will present on the work of their office, including programming and policy recommendations, that advances equity for transgender, gender nonconforming and LGBTQ people in San Francisco. In addition, they will speak on how the Department and Commission can specifically support their work and potential opportunities for collaboration.
