Overview
The Refuse Rate Board had been scheduled to meet on July 28, 2023 in City Hall room 408 starting at 9:00 a.m.. This hearing was rescheduled to August 31st at 9:00 a.m. in City Hall room 408. No Refuse Rate Board hearing took place on July 28th. At the August 31st meeting, the Refuse Rate Board will resume hearing whether to approve an increase to the refuse rates for Rate Years 2024 and 2025 and may take action.

Discussion and possible action to adopt a resolution modifying and adopting the Refuse Rates Administrator’s proposal for a refuse rate adjustment for rate years 2024 and 2025; finding that the adjusted refuse rates are just and reasonable; memorialize the required service levels for refuse collection; and affirming the Planning Department’s determination that the proposed adoption of the rate order is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. Approval of this proposed action is the Approval Action as defined by San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 31.
