Tattoo Removal Clinic

In collaboration with the S.F. Department of Public Health, CARECEN SF’s Tattoo Removal Clinic is the only FREE community based laser tattoo removal clinic in San Francisco. Our clinic is one of our busiest programs, welcoming young people 13-25 years-old on the third and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Under-resourced young people can have access to this process and therefore gain a second chance at life without the stigma that comes with having violence- or trauma-related tattoos that can further isolate, pose a threat to personal safety or prevent them from gaining employment.

Young people with visible tattoos
