Lenelle Suliguin
Lenelle Suliguin has over 20 years of experience working in local government in the areas of community development and affordable housing policies and programs. She has managed and coordinated CDBG and HOME programs, including preparing the Annual Action Plans and the Annual Performance Reports, and working with grantees to ensure compliance with HUD requirements. Prior to working in local government, she worked for the American Red Cross Bay Area and received her MA in Public Administration from the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota. She received her BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and she is currently working on a Creative Writing Certificate from the City College of San Francisco.
Lenelle was born in the Philippines and has lived in San Francisco since the age of six. She grew up in the Portola District and currently lives at the top of a hill in the Oceanview neighborhood. She hopes to use her skills and work experience to serve San Francisco residents as a member of the Citizens’ Committee on Community Development.
