Mission
To provide quality healthcare and trauma services with compassion and respect
About
Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG) and San Francisco Health Network (SFHN) within the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) works with University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Clinical Pharmacy to serve a diverse and underserved patient population. We provide humanistic, cost-effective, and culturally competent care. There are 3 pharmacy residency programs aimed to train compassionate clinicians and pharmacy leaders.
- PGY1 pharmacy residency: ZSFG is the safety net hospital and only Level 1 Trauma Center for San Francisco. Rotations take place within the hospital.
- PGY1 pharmacy residency at ambulatory care clinics: SFHN provides world class care for publicly insured patients, near where they live. Rotations take place in primary care and specialty care clinics.
- PGY2 pharmacy residency in psychiatry: This is a collaborative program offered jointly by ZSFG, the SFDPH Behavioral Health Services and the UCSF Department of Clinical Pharmacy to include a broad exposure to disease states across many populations.
We are also a training site for UCSF pharmacy residents and students.
