Treasure Island Child Development Center

The Treasure Island Child Development Center is a licensed childcare facility staffed by professionally trained personnel providing family support and full-time childcare to the Island community in its infant, toddler and preschool programs.

Treasure Island YMCA after-school program

The YMCA of San Francisco offers an after-school program for Island youth and teens at TI Gymnasium, with activities, art projects, tutoring, mentoring and more.  Enrollment is free-of-charge to Island families.

San Francisco Public Library Bookmobile on the Island

San Francisco Public Library Bookmobile is on-Island weekly.  All materials available for check-out free-of-charge with an SFPL Library Card.   

Island resident suggestions on titles and topics of interest are encouraged!

  • Where: Avenue H at 11th Street
  • When: Every Wednesday, 2:00 p - 6:00 p (excluding holidays) 

San Francisco Public Library Book Stop at Island Cove Market

Community members can check out and return books at the San Francisco Public Library's new automated book kiosk, the SFPL Book Stop, during Island Cove Market business hours.  All that's needed is an SFPL Library Card.

  • When: Monday through Friday: 9:00 a - 9:00 p, Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 a - 8:00 p

Treasure Island playgrounds

Open daily for Island children and families.  Posted rules apply.  All adults must be accompanying a child.
