Treasure Island is home to local athletic leagues, sports fields and varied outdoor recreation opportunities.

Athletic leagues

San Francisco Little League Fields

Treasure Island is home to fields utilized by SF Little League's baseball, softball and Challenger programs.

Treasure Island residents may use Field #2 (Ketcham) when not in use by SFLL  Posted rules apply. 

  • Field # 1 (Tepper) Avenue N at 4th St.
  • Field # 2 (Ketcham) Avenue M at 8th St.

San Francisco Gaelic Athletic Association Grounds and Community Centre

San Francisco Gaelic Athletic Association encompasses the greater Bay Area region and promotes Irish culture as expressed through sports.

Treasure Island residents may use the SFGAA field when not in use by SFGAA.  Posted rules apply.

San Francisco Golden Gate Youth Rugby Field

San Francisco Golden Gate Youth Rugby Club develops an understanding and enjoyment of the sport of rugby across all age groups.

Treasure Island Sailing Center

Treasure Island Sailing Center seeks to improve community access to sailing on San Francisco Bay through camps, classes and on-the-water activities.

Treasure Isle Marina

Treasure Isle Marina is currently sized for recreational vessels up to 60 feet in length.  Inquire directly for rates, amenities and slip availability.  Limited guest berthing available.

Treasure Island Perimeter Path

A multi-use public path for walking/running/bicycling along Treasure Island's northern shoreline.

Treasure Island Dog Park

A fenced community dog park located at Avenue of Palms and 9th Street on Treasure Island.

The Rocks Dog Park

A fenced community dog park located on Yerba Buena Loop Road and Macalla Street on Yerba Buena Island.  No public parking currently available.

Yerba Buena Island Vista Point 

Vista Point is a scenic rest stop on Yerba Buena Island near the Bay Bridge East Span bicycle/pedestrian path. Featuring restrooms, benches, a hydration station, and bike racks,

Yerba Buena Island Bimla Rhinehart Vista Point

The Bimla Rhinehart Vista Point sits on the eastern tip of Yerba Buena Island, atop Pier E-2 of the former Bay Bridge eastern span.  The facility honors former California Transportation Commission Executive Director and Toll Bridge Program Oversight Committee member Bimla Gill Rhinehart (1961-2013).  The Bimla Rhinehart Vista Point is open daily from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.
