Reporting on sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) data collection

Departments collect demographic data to track how we serve LGBTQ San Franciscans.

Historically, LGBTQ communities have encountered many barriers when trying to get services. These include healthcare, homeless, and housing services.

San Francisco wants to ensure equity across all our services. Since 2017, we have collected demographic data to track our progress.
