ZSFG Adult urgent care

  • For ages 18 years and older
  • Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, Building 5
  • Go to the 1st floor, Unit 1E
  • Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am to 6pm | Weekends and Holidays: 8am to 4pm
  • Walk-Ins Welcome; No Appointment needed.

ZSFG Children and teens urgent care:

  • For those under 18 years of age
  • Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, Building 5
  • Go to the 6th floor, Unit 6M
  • Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am to 8pm | Weekends and Holidays: 9am to 5pm

Maria X. Martinez Clinic for people experiencing homelessness:

  • 555 Stevenson Street, San Francisco, CA 94103
  • Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 8:30am to 4:30pm | Wednesday: 10:30am to 4:30pm
  • Closed on San Francisco city holidays.

Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is needed for adult urgent care. Walk-Ins are welcome.

We recommend that you try to schedule a same-day appointment at your primary care clinic first, if you are not having an emergency.

During regular business hours

Your primary care clinic can give you advice or to make a same-day appointment. You can call them at 628-217-5700. You might get care for:

  • General sickness or non-life threatening infection
  • Managing chronic illnesses
  • Referrals for a specialist
  • Hospital follow-ups
  • Annual physicals

Calls to 6M Children’s Health Center will be transferred to a clinic provider who can help.

When your clinic is closed

Call 628-217-5700 and your call will be transferred to an after-hours service.

An on-call doctor may be available to speak with you.
