- Market Value Decline or Property Tax Relief
- California voters passed proposition 8 (Prop 8) in November 1978. This allows a temporary reduction when the market value of your property dips below its factored base year value as of the lien date (January 1st).
- Proposition 19
- Proposition 19 makes changes to property tax benefits for:
- families
- seniors
- severely disabled persons
- victims of natural disaster
