The San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH) is dedicated to assisting individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our comprehensive services include:

  • Adult Shelter Reservations: Secure a spot in one of our adult shelters if you're currently experiencing homelessness.
  • Temporary Shelter for Families and Pregnant Individuals: Access specialized temporary housing solutions tailored for families with children and expectant mothers.
  • In-Person Assistance: Visit our Access Points to connect with caseworkers who can guide you through housing options and support services available throughout the city.
  • Drop-In Centers: Utilize our drop-in centers for essentials such as meals, showers, and additional resources to support your well-being.
  • Relocation Assistance: If you have support networks outside San Francisco, we offer assistance to help you reconnect and relocate.
  • Homelessness Prevention Resources: For those at risk of losing their housing, we provide financial aid, relocation services, and other preventive measures.
