Black History Month with the Library of Congress
For Black History Month, the Library of Congress has opened a new web archive collection: Protests Against Racism. This web archive documents the civil unrest sparked by the murder of George Floyd. This release is just one of a series of programs and collections marking Black History Month.
Protests Against Racism
The theme of this year's Black History Month is "Resistance." The Protests Against Racism Web Archive collects certain websites documenting protests and activism sparked by the murder of George Floyd. The archive also includes websites documenting earlier killings of victims of racism and police brutality. View the collection here.
Webinar: Researching African Americans in Business
The Library of Congress also has an online workshop planned on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 1PM ET, African Americans in Business: Company Research.
