College students can apply to assist City departments completing projects or other designated tasks (within career field).

2025 timeline
- Application deadline:
- Friday, 28 February 2025 by 11:59PM (PST)
- Interview dates - via Zoom or Google Meets (If selected):
- April 2025 - May 2025
- Acceptance status:
- Mid to end of May 2025
- Program dates:
- Monday, 9 June 2025 through Friday, 1 August 2025 (Start date is flexible with end of school schedule)
Pay
$21.25 an hour
What to do
College (mentor assistant) application for 2025 summer program:
Special cases
Eligibility:
- Current college student with minimum one (1) year of completed college level course work, preferably in field-of-interest (Completed by Spring 2025)
- Ability to work effectively with youth in a professional setting
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and organizations
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Must be able to commit to 30 hours per week during the summer session
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
Hours:
30 hours a week
