      In response to the Office of the Mayor’s directive to align Commissions with the Board of Supervisors, the Commission will discuss and vote on ending remote public comment beginning December 14, 2023.

    6. VETERANS DAY REFLECTION (Discussion and Possible Action Item)

      Presentation by Veteran’s Alley founder on their work locally and the impact Veteran’s Alley has had worldwide. Veteran’s Alley represents the first instance where veterans, through public artwork, have created a constant dialogue with the community by highlighting the reality of war and the military experience, and teaching society how to never use violence to resolve conflicts ever again.

    7. NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH (Discussion and Possible Action Item)

      The American Indian Cultural District will present on Native American Heritage Month and the significance of continuing a meaningful partnership with the San Francisco Human Rights Commission to support and elevate the needs of the local American Indian community.

    Government's duty is to serve the public, reaching its decisions in full view of the public. Commissions, boards, councils, and other agencies of the City and County exist to conduct the people's business. This ordinance assures that deliberations are conducted before the people and that City operations are open to the people's review. For more information on your rights under the Sunshine Ordinance (Chapter 67 of the San Francisco Administrative Code) or to report a violation of the ordinance, contact the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force:
