San Francisco, CA – Today, Executive Director Paul D. Henderson announced the launch of the DPA’s case tracking site. This webpage allows complainants to independently look up their case status and submit documents for case reviews or investigative hearing requests online.

This was made possible with the technological progress that the DPA has had over the last few years, with the capability to integrate a new webpage for case tracking into our current Salesforce Case Management System. This is significant as it allows complainants to access their case status and easily upload documents relevant to their cases in a more secure and meaningful way.

Creating a digital environment for complainants to look up case information is critical as it allows the DPA to provide another level of transparency. Transparency increases trust, honesty, and integrity. Local governments and agencies that initiate processes to provide the information that matters most to stakeholders prove that the DPA have their stakeholders' best interests at heart.

The DPA’s case status tracking site has created a bridge connecting our case management system with our complainants allowing for further transparency. The portal is accessible through DPA’s website: https://sf.gov/departments/department-police-accountability.
