The Department of Elections Releases Preliminary Results Report #13 and Update on the Number of Ballots Left to Count for the March 5, 2024, Consolidated Presidential Primary Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 – Today, the Department of Elections issued the 13th preliminary election results reports of votes cast in the March 5, 2024, Consolidated Presidential Primary Election.

Today’s preliminary results report is comprised of ballots that required manual review or voters’ actions to cure.  Today is also the deadline for voters to cure ballots since the Department expects to certify the election on Friday, March 22. 

Since voters can cure ballots until the end of the day, the Department will process any additional cured ballots and issue the next results report tomorrow, March 21. 

Ballot processing is open to public observation in-person and via livestream at sfelections.org/observe

When the Department issues preliminary results reports, Director John Arntz will be available to respond to questions from members of the public and the media outside of Room 48 in City Hall.
