Refuse Rate Board Hearing - March 25, 2024

Overview

The City and County of San Francisco’s Refuse Rate Board regulates refuse collection and disposal in San Francisco. As part of its duties, the Refuse Rate Board will convene a public hearing on March 25th from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. to report progress and consider requests for use of solid waste fee impound account funds by City departments. This is an action item and the Board will hear public comment. The Office of the Refuse Rate Administrator — part of the Controller’s Office —will present updates relating to the current 2024 and 2025 Rate Order and Recology — the waste collection and disposal company — will present operational and financial updates as well.
