1979 Mission St. - Owner's Consultants & Architects Consultants

Mission Housing Development Corporation (“Mission Housing”) and Mission Economic Development Agency (“MEDA”) (jointly defined as “Owner”) are pursuing the development of an 100% affordable housing project at 1979 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103 (“Site”). The site itself consists of a 57,325 square foot lot located at the northeast corner of Mission Street and 16th Street and is envisioned as two separate buildings on the site, each addressing unique housing needs.

Scope of work for this RFP: This RFP seeks the Owner’s and Architect’s professional consultant services beginning with the Schematic Design phase through the Construction Administration phase.

650 Divisadero St. - Architectural Services

Jonathan Rose Companies and Young Community Developers (“Sponsors”) are requesting statements of qualification, conceptual analysis, and fee proposals from firms interested in architectural design services for the design and construction of 650 Divisadero (the “Project”), a mixed-use affordable multifamily housing project.  Proposers are not required to assemble a full architectural and consultant team at this time. 

In collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD), the Sponsors of 650 Divisadero (the “Site”) intends to construct an affordable rental housing project serving a minimum of 95 low-income family units, including 24 households experiencing homelessness, and ground-floor commercial use servicing the surrounding neighborhood and the residents at the Site.

967 Mission St: DB VIMS & Earthworks

Baines-Nibbi Joint Venture has been selected as the General Contractor for the 967 Mission project in San Francisco.  We are in receipt of the 100% DD Early bid documents and are currently requesting bid proposals from qualified subcontractors and suppliers including those certified with the San Francisco Contract Monitoring Department (CMD) as local business enterprises (LBE’s) for VIMS and Ground Improvement.  

Project Description:  A 9 story building (plus occupied roof) mid-rise residential building with ground floor resident serving space, the building will provide approximately 95 units of 100% Affordable senior housing including a manager’s unit. The project unit mix is studios and one-bedrooms weighted more towards studios. 25% of the units will be for formerly homeless seniors, and all units will be restricted at 50% AMI or lower.

The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) requests qualifications to provide MEP – Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing – and Fire Protection Design and Engineering Servies as sub-consultants to the architect for the design and rehabilitation of 125 Mason Street, a multi-family affordable housing property. 

125 Mason Street Apartments is an 81-unit, fully occupied affordable family property. The building is a reinforced concrete 14-story structure constructed in 2008. TNDC is seeking a general contractor with extensive experience designing rehabilitation projects of occupied buildings of a similar age and structural type as 125 Mason. 850 Turk Street - Special Inspector

MidPen Housing Corporation is seeking material testing and construction inspection services for a 100% affordable housing development located at 850 Turk Street. This project is located on State-owned land and is developed in partnership with the State. The project is designed as a Type IA, 8-Story, post-tensioned concrete building, comprised of 7 residential stories over a mixed-use ground floor (garage, common areas, residential services and property management offices, and 2 elevators).  There will be 92 units offered in a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.
