Visit an Access Point

Access points are in-person locations that connect you to the services you need. You will be assessed for eligibility by a staff member. 

Choose a location based on your age and family status:

  • Adults: anyone over the age of 18 (without children)
  • Family: adults and families with children under the age of 18
  • Transitional Age Youth: ages 18 to 24
  • Unaccompanied minors: under age 18

Call SFHOT if you're experiencing street homelessness

Time:

24 to 72 hours

If you are experiencing street homelessness, call the San Francisco Homeless Outreach Team (SFHOT) at 628-652-8000.

Leave a voicemail with the following details:

  • Your name
  • Your location and the hours you're there
  • Your physical description
  • Your phone number (if you have one)
  • Your preferred language
  • Let them know if you're already working with the HOT team

After you call SFHOT

You will receive a call or an in-person visit by an outreach team. It may take between 24 to 72 hours to get a response.
