Step by step

Change or Reset your DPH Password

DPH users can register their phone and change or reset their DPH password on this page

Follow the steps below to change or reset the DPH password you use to log in to your work computer.

This password is sometimes called your "Active Directory" password and is also used to log in to Epic, MyDesktop (for remote access), and ServiceNow. It is different than your email password.

To change or reset your email password instead, visit the CCSF Employee Portal.

Register your phone for password reset

Time:

3 mins

Use this link to Register your phone for password reset

This allows you to confirm your identity by receiving a text message before changing your password.

You need to register even if you already use Duo because password reset is a separate service.

If your phone is not already registered when your password expires, you cannot reset your password by yourself. Please call the DPH IT Service Desk for help at 628-206-7378.

Use this link to Reset your DPH password.

If you reset your DPH password while your laptop is at home or some other remote location, your DPH laptop password will not change until the next time your laptop connects to the DPH network. Until then, use your old password to log in to your DPH laptop and your new password to log in to online DPH systems like Epic or MyDesktop.
