What to expect at an Access Point
Access points are in-person locations where our Coordinated Entry team connects you to services and resources.
Our team assesses your needs and helps you figure out your options.
Choose an Access Point to visit
Pick an Access Point location based on your age and family status:
- Adults: anyone over the age of 18 (without children)
- Family: adults and families with children under the age of 18
- Transitional Age Youth: ages 18 to 24
- Survivors: survivors of various types of violence of any age
- Unaccompanied minors: under age 18
- Adult overnight shelter: all people over the age of 18

We provide printable resource cards for people experiencing homelessness in English, Chinese, Filipino, and Spanish.

Discounts
Fine and fee discounts may be available if you have had an assessment done at an Access Point within the last 6 months.
Ask Access Point staff about:
- Free Muni passes
- A one-time waiver of tow and storage costs
- A one-time waiver of a “boot” fine
- Discounted citations
Coordinated Entry Administrative Review
If you have participated in Problem Solving and Coordinated Entry at an Access Point and were not identified as Housing Referral Status your assessment can be reviewed through the Coordinated Entry Administrative Review process.
Administrative Review can be submitted by the case manager, clinician, or provider you have been working with. You can not self-submit an Administrative Review. Contact your case manager, clinician, or provider for more information.
