DGO 6.21 - Investigative Social Media Accounts
On June 7, 2023, the Police Commission (“Commission”) passed resolution 23-51 initiating the commencement of the Department General Order (“DGO”) development process for a new DGO on Investigative Social Media Accounts pursuant to San Francisco Police Department DGO 3.01.04 C.3, as a Commission-led DGO.
The Commission is making the draft DGO available for public comment for 30 business days starting on June 30th 2023.

Under Department General Order 3.01, Written Communications System, section 3.01.04.D, the Department "shall post the draft policy on the SFPD website and will provide members of the public and Department members thirty (30) business days to submit recommendations."
