Purpose

This dashboard provides a monthly summary of the City’s outcomes from relocation assistance programs. This assistance helps people who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness or formerly homeless reunite with support networks and stable homes outside the city.

Data Source

  • HSH Relocation Assistance data is sourced from HSH’s Online Navigation and Entry (ONE) System, a HUD-compliant Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
  • HSA CAAP Relocation Assistance data and HSA Journey Home data are sourced from Sharepoint List datasets managed by HSA.

This dashboard refreshes daily.

Data Notes

Clients relocations are not deduplicated per unique client. A single client may be served with relocation assistance more than one time in the selected reporting period.

Key Terms and Acronyms

Key terms for this dashboard include:

  • Client Relocations – Client relocations refer to each instance where a client is relocated to a stable home outside the city.  
  • Fiscal Year (FY) – The City and County of San Francisco’s fiscal year starts on July 1 and ends on June 30. For example, FY 19-20 spans from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
