My loved one’s residence was sealed by the Investigator. What should I do?
The legal next of kin may remove the seal and enter the residence/premises. If an apartment unit, please consider contacting property management as well.

Please try and contact the tenant's next of kin to safely facilitate the transfer of property. We can try to help and connect you with the decedent's next of kin, please email us at OCME@sfgov.org and include the decedents name, address, approximate date of death. Thank you.
