Maanasa Sivashankar
Maanasa Sivashankar is a senior service designer trained in urban design. Maanasa recently joined the Mayor’s Office of Innovation, where she leads the office’s user research work.
Her experience includes participatory planning, and employing design to solve complex urban challenges. Her work includes designing emergency shelter in humanitarian disaster zones with the World Bank, and improving access to services as a design researcher at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements. Most recently, Maanasa worked as a human centered design strategist for Fortune 500 clients at Zenda Consulting

She has a Master’s Degree from Parson’s School of Design, New York and a Bachelor’s from the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.
