Member Street was appointed by the LHCB on June 6, 2022 to Seat 9.  Her current term expires 7/1/2023.

My passion for doing this work began when I was 14 working for a phoneline guiding youth through difficult situations. I eventually worked my way up to writing grants to start one of my own programs called youth funding youth ideas. My passion for doing this work began when I was 14 working for a phoneline guiding youth through difficult situations. I eventually worked my way up to writing grants to start one of my own programs called youth funding youth ideas. I was a supervisor for the disconnected subcommittee, which was focused on supporting the homeless youth population.

Moreover, I also have direct experience working in a shelter as a swing shift supervisor, which provided up to 300 meals a day. While working there I was couch surfing while raising my daughter. While this proved to be one of the biggest challenges of my life, it also expanded my compassion for the clients I serve.

I am currently a case manager at the Kinney Hotel here in San Francisco and I have decided that I want to do more to make a difference in this city. I am a strong believer in justice, and I hope to uphold this belief as a part of this committee.  I am passionate about the work I do.
