Jorge G. Rodriguez, a Berkeley, California native holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of California, Riverside. As a first-generation college student raised in an immigrant blue collar household, he is deeply committed to creating economic opportunity for underserved communities. His journey began with contributions to local nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area which extended to St. Louis, Missouri, and also served as a policy associate for Congress in Washington D.C, with the House Committee on Financial Services
His focus lies in alleviating root causes of poverty through initiatives addressing homeownership, wealth building, financial sector inclusion, and youth development. Jorge, fluent in Spanish, takes pride in serving as a mentor for youth, offering guidance on academic and professional aspirations. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, attending live music events, and supporting the Oakland Raiders, Warriors, and Athletics.
