Jonathan Kurup

Jonathan Kurup is a passionate advocate with over a decade of experience in workforce development, corporate philanthropy, and community impact programs. With a background in program management, he is an operator who successfully led global, national, and local initiatives, showcasing a commitment to driving positive change. In his recent role as the Manager of Workforce Development, Jonathan designed and executed a global program that scales the Salesforce talent ecosystem supporting organizations and learners around the world. Jonathan's extensive experience in managing corporate responsibility programs, including roles at Starbucks, Cisco Systems, and Silicon Valley Community Foundation, underscores his proficiency in developing and executing strategic community initiatives.

Jonathan earned an MPA from the University of San Francisco and served in the US Army for over 6 years. Throughout his professional career he has advocated for and is committed to supporting marginalized communities to help remove barriers, find employment and access economic opportunity. He has spent most of his career working with veterans, populations experiencing homelessness, re-entry and justice involved individuals, and individuals with disabilities.
