Jane Gong

As the Deputy Chief Digital Services Officer since the inception of the team, Jane Gong oversees every aspect of operations, hiring and recruitment, performance, strategy, and engagement. Her role is to build a strong foundation so that the Digital Services team can deliver. 

Jane is an immigrant who received government services when she immigrated to San Francisco with her parents in 1986. She has had the honor of serving San Franciscans for the past 12 years helping small businesses seek assistance, residents find affordable housing, and every San Franciscan get vaccinated.

Known for being a compassionate but tough leader who knows how to get things done, she understands that we do not shy away from the edge cases in order to truly put equity and accessibility at the forefront of everything we build.
