Dr. Raveena Rihal

Dr. Raveena Rihal is a Sikh American woman who has called San Francisco home since 2009. She is a physician trained in internal medicine, who has previously worked in hospital medicine and telemedicine. After Trump's victory in 2016, she co-founded Post March Salon, a women's social-political activism group that has met monthly since the 2017 women's march in an effort to sustain activism, educate, and engage in service. The organization has since grown nationally. Dr. Rihal also holds a leadership position at her children's school, running and executing an initiative to engage the community

Dr. Rihal also holds a leadership position at her children's school, running and executing an initiative to engage the community around homelessness and poverty in San Francisco, in an effort to educate, build empathy, and take action. She has organized successful fundraisers and voter registration drives as well, helping flip CA-10 blue in 2018. She is mother to two humans, aged 4 and 8, who keep her running, playing, and wrestling. She loves to cook, host, and create community.
