Darion Johnston
Darion Johnston works as an attorney at the South San Francisco office of Adams, Broadwell Joseph & Cardozo. She represents utility worker labor unions in regulatory proceedings that decide how California will meet its clean energy and carbon neutrality goals without sacrificing electric system safety, reliability and affordability.
Before law school, Darion served as a legislative aide at the California State Assembly where she advised Majority Leader Cecilia Aguiar-Curry and Assemblyman Mike Gatto on environmental, utilities and public safety issues. After graduating from UC Berkeley School

After graduating from UC Berkeley School of Law, Darion began her legal career as a project finance attorney for solar companies.
As a member of the Citizens’ Committee on Community Development, Darion hopes to leverage her legal, policy and finance experience to promote sustainable and compassionate solutions to the homelessness and housing crises in San Francisco.
