A decade later and homelessness has remained an enduring obstacle. Having been in and out of it throughout most of life, my lived experiences have motivated me to help others just like me, so they will never have to experience many of the hardships I have faced in the past. When adversity and misfortune come before us, our shelters must be there to accommodate. Having served in different positions of leadership and policy throughout the city, I hope to be impactful in that support. I have always retained a strong empathy for those that are struggling to overcome hardship. Having obtained years of experience as an informed, passionate, and dedicated public advocate for homeless issues, I also mentor unaccompanied youth and transitional aged youth into achieving a more secure and stable life. Was first appointed to the Shelter Monitoring Committee by the Board of Supervisor's in 2021 and recently was reappointed in June to Seat 2 for a term to end 6/30/2024
