Chaniel Williams
Chaniel Williams was born and raised in San Francisco. A product of the San Francisco Unified School District, Chaniel attended San Jose State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies, with a minor in Psychology.
Chaniel is currently the Program Manager at Magic Zone, a year-round youth development program in San Francisco's Western Addition, a position she has held for four years.
Chaniel's responsibilities include:
● Supervising and training six staff members
● Overseeing the daily activities for 60 students
● Planning and Implementing high-quality out of

● Planning and Implementing high-quality out of school time programming for youth in San Francisco's Western Addition.
Chaniel has assisted in planning local and regional field trips and events for as many as 1,000 youth with Mo' MAGIC. Before becoming the Program Manager, Chaniel was the K-2nd Program Lead. Chaniel also serves on the board of the newly formed organization Our Community As A Resource (O.C.A.A.R.), a social justice movement to transform the lives of all community members. O.C.A.A.R. members commit to living purpose-driven lives with a growth mindset to empower others through authentic love implemented with a "Spirit of Excellence." Chaniel provides program, fundraising, and strategic support to the mission and work of the organization.
Chaniel currently holds the position as Community Member Impacted by Violence on the San Francisco Department of Juvenile Justice Realignment Subcommittee and is also on the University of San Francisco’s Council on Community Engagement (UCCE).
Chaniel is a champion for young people and giving equitable experiences for all communities.
