Aseel stands as a beacon of achievement in his family, being the first to graduate and earn a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University. With a passionate commitment to peace and human rights, he champions change as a Yemeni-American activist.

Raised in San Francisco's Tenderloin Neighborhood, Aseel possesses a profound understanding of immigrant challenges, gained through firsthand experience and robust organizing experience with immigrant communities.

Aseel has also been involved in peacebuilding and humanitarian aid assistance in his homeland, Yemen. Founding Urgent Care For Yemen, Aseel spearheaded impactful initiatives, raising substantial funds to provide vital drinking water tanks in Yemen. His endeavors reflect a blend of compassion and strategic advocacy, driving tangible results. His tireless dedication resonates locally and globally, inspiring others to join the pursuit of a more equitable and just society.
